Our Commitment
Capital Property Group & Management is committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local fair housing laws. We do not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
We are dedicated to providing equal professional service to all persons in the sale, rental, and management of residential real estate.
The Fair Housing Act
The Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended) prohibits discrimination in housing based on:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- National Origin
- Familial Status (families with children under 18, pregnant persons)
- Disability (physical or mental)
This law covers most housing transactions including the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, as well as advertising and property management.
Missouri Fair Housing Law
In addition to federal protections, the Missouri Human Rights Act (Chapter 213, RSMo) provides additional protections against discrimination in housing based on race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, disability, and familial status. Capital Property Group & Management complies fully with Missouri state fair housing requirements.
